Real Estate Technology Tips – YouTube
We live in an age where technology is all around us, even in the real estate industry. If you are considering entering the market to buy (or sell) a property, then it makes sense to use every tool available. This includes technology and the internet can be a great source of information on what you should and shouldn’t do.
YouTube has become a popular home to many ‘how to’ type videos. There is a good reason for this. I can write a blog post about a particular subject, for example, how to make a lowball offer (we did in a post titled – Real Estate Tips – Winning With A Lowball Offer). However, watching how an expert goes through the process of making a lowball offer puts a completely different perspective on the topic.
Video tutorials are everywhere these days and they are proving to be very effective. Even videos that are no more than Powerpoint presentations are effective. You are reading, you are listening, and you are become a part of the topic. As a user, this makes the experience more rewarding, and, for that reason, more educational.
Simply finding a house is different today compared to five years ago. You can log on to the internet, bring up a real estate search tool like The Best Home Search Ever, and within minutes have a list of properties from the MLS that perfectly match your search criteria. If you’re having problems using the search tool, then check out the video tutorial that accompanies it – yes, another cool video related to real estate.
Technology is there and it’s free to use. If it is going to help you deal with others in the real estate industry, which buying (and selling) a property necessitates, then use it and get the most from it – after all – it’s all been created for people in your situation.
